Logan Energy Nets £5M To Develop Hydrogen Power
Scottish Green Energy Firm Secures Major Investment
Investment To Advance Logan Energy's Hydrogen Power Systems
Logan Energy, an Edinburgh-based green energy integrator, has secured a substantial £5 million investment to advance its systems-led approach to hydrogen power. The investment is a testament to the growing interest in hydrogen as a clean and sustainable energy source.
The company's hydrogen power systems use hydrogen produced via hydroelectric power, making them a zero-carbon solution. This project is the country's largest hydrogen project and is expected to make a major contribution to Scotland's goal of producing up to 25GW of hydrogen by 2045.
Logan Energy's hydrogen power systems are designed to be used in a variety of applications, including transportation, heating, and power generation. The company is working with a number of partners to develop and deploy these systems, including bus operators, haulage companies, and energy companies.
The £5 million investment will be used to further develop Logan Energy's hydrogen power systems, as well as to expand the company's team and operations. The company is planning to open a new manufacturing facility in Scotland, which will create up to 50 new jobs.
