Dr Disrespect Teams With Call of Duty and Halo Veterans to Launch Game Studio
Guy Beahm, the streamer known as Dr Disrespect, is launching a new AAA studio called Midnight Society.
The studio is being co-founded by former Call of Duty creative strategist Robert "fourzerotwo" Bowling and former Halo lead designer Quinn DelHoyo.
Midnight Society's first game is expected to be a first-person shooter, and the studio is already in talks with publishers.
Beahm is a popular streamer with over 4 million followers on Twitch. He is known for his over-the-top personality and his love of first-person shooters.
Bowling is a former creative strategist at Infinity Ward, where he worked on the Call of Duty franchise. DelHoyo is a former lead designer at 343 Industries, where he worked on the Halo franchise.
Midnight Society is the latest in a growing number of game studios being founded by streamers and other influencers.
