Mike Duheme to Lead National Police Force

Ottawa, ON - Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced the appointment of Mike Duheme as the next Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
Duheme, a career RCMP officer with over 30 years of experience, will take up the position on October 1, 2024. He replaces outgoing Commissioner Brenda Lucki, who is retiring.
