Pelicans Vs Raptors

Pelicans Soar Past Raptors, Led by Murphy's 34-Point Performance

Siakam's 26 Not Enough as Toronto Loses Despite Second-Chance Points

Murphy's Season High, Ingram's 41 Points and Career-High 3-Pointers Lift New Orleans

New Orleans, LA - The New Orleans Pelicans emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night, securing a 105-101 victory. Trey Murphy III led the way for the Pelicans with a season-high 34 points, while Brandon Ingram contributed a 41-point outburst, highlighted by a career-high eight 3-pointers.

The Raptors, playing without several key players due to injuries, fought back from a 12-point deficit to tie the game with just over five minutes remaining. However, a clutch 3-pointer by Murphy and a key rebound by Ingram proved to be decisive in sealing the win for New Orleans.

For the Raptors, Pascal Siakam led the scoring with 26 points, followed by Jakob Poeltl's 21 points and career-high 18 rebounds. Despite a dominant performance on the offensive glass, with 24 second-chance points, Toronto was unable to overcome the Pelicans' efficiency from beyond the arc and clutch plays down the stretch.

The win improves the Pelicans' record to 31-31, while the Raptors fall to 29-32. Both teams will look to bounce back from their respective losses in their upcoming games.
